• Or baking something sweet (because sugar + spice is my happy place)

Every Story Starts with a Feeling
Even before I understood stories, I knew how to feel them.

When I was in second grade, we were asked to write a two-page story about a pet dinosaur.

Mine ended up being eight or ten pages long — and by the end, the whole class was crying. 🥹

I don’t remember the details of that story anymore, but I’ll never forget the feeling. Even back then, when I struggled to comprehend what I read, I somehow knew how to feel a story — how to chase the emotion that makes you care.

Maybe that’s where this all began. 💕
Because at the heart of every book I write now, I’m still chasing that same feeling — the one that makes your chest ache and your heart hope again.
